Washington DC based designer Candace Marsella created Smashing Jewels in May 2005. A graduate of the University of Maryland and a G.I.A. certified color stone and diamond specialist, Candace has worked in many facets of the jewelry industry. Her experience includes wholesale, manufacturing, retail, auction and currently jewelry design.

Using her knowledge of gemstones as well as her antique jewelry inspirations she has established a one of a kind jewelry line. Each handcrafted design uses the finest quality gemstones and pearls, creating stylish and wearable jewelry for women of all ages.

The concept is simple, to create contemporary jewelry with an allure of classic elegance.
